WHO WE ARE
Shakthidhama women’s rehabilitation and development center started working in the year 1997.
It is located in Mysore (recently renamed as MYSURU) and until date we have rehabilitated over 4000 women in need. The work continues with additional facilities created to provide skill development and training for women to achieve economic self-reliance. Two counselling units of the center help to overcome the traumatic experience of the women.











WHAT WE DO

—Accommodation
Unwed mothers, Rape Victims, Pregnant women are admitted as soon as they approach our door step.

—Counseling, Medical support
Women in need are given proper counselling and medical support as an immediate measure.

— For pregnant women
Post natal care, infant care, counseling is provided along with an extended stay until child grows up to 3 to 6 years.

—Legal support
We provide required legal support and help women to get justice in the court of law.
05.
— Education
We provide residential educational opportunities for the girls coming from disadvantaged families.
06.
— Skill development
We enable women to achieve economic self reliance through various skill development activities.
INFRASTRUCTURE



Administrative building with counselling center. Entire campus is equipped with full cctv surveillance.
Two identical dormitory buildings (Sharada Kutira & Niveditha Kutira) each to house 100 girls with bunker beds and other amenities. Akkamahadevi Dormitory buildings for accommodating women rendered homeless.
The Skill development centre has different skill training units, like Computer, Bakery, Tailoring, Food & Honey processing.
